Looking for different email marketing software?

Almost every webshop has a separate email tool: Klaviyo, Brevo, Mailchimp or a Dutch provider. Products, orders and sign-ups come in through integrations. Below, an honest comparison of each tool with Neuramerce, where the email module sits inside the platform next to your catalogue and orders. Including where a separate tool is ahead, and when it remains the better choice.

What to look for when choosing email marketing software

Six questions that decide whether an email tool brings in revenue or mostly becomes another subscription. The monthly price deliberately isn't first: it almost always depends on your contact count.

What does the price scale on

Klaviyo charges per active profile, Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign also count unsubscribed contacts, Brevo charges per email sent. Work out what your list costs in two years, not just today.

Does the tool know your products and orders

An abandoned cart email or a product block with the live price only works if the integration with your shop is right. Check which shop platform that integration really exists for, and what happens when it falls out of sync.

Which sequences do you really need

Welcome, abandoned cart and a post-purchase email bring in the most for most webshops. Browse abandonment, birthday emails and SMS are nice, but only count them if you'll use them.

Where is your customer data stored

Your list contains names, addresses and purchase behaviour. Some of the big tools store it in the US by default, or offer EU storage only for new accounts.

Can your team work with it in Dutch

For the big international email tools we found no Dutch interface. For anyone who builds a newsletter every week, that weighs more than one extra feature.

How fast can you reach your whole list

A new sending domain has to warm up. If you switch with a large list, plan smaller sends for the first weeks.
FAQ

Questions about choosing email marketing software.

A separate email tool sits next to your webshop and pulls products, orders and sign-ups through an integration. The Neuramerce email module is part of the platform your shop runs on: product blocks show the live price and stock, a sequence starts on a paid order and revenue is shown per campaign, without an integration. On the other hand, specialised tools are further ahead with dynamic segments, browse abandonment and SMS.
Klaviyo, Brevo, Mailchimp, MailerLite, ActiveCampaign, Omnisend, Laposta, Spotler, Mailblue and Enormail. Those are the ten we see most often at webshops that are reconsidering their email tool.
A welcome sequence after sign-up, a post-purchase sequence (filterable by product or category), a re-engagement sequence after ninety days without a click, a birthday sequence on the birthday itself (from a contact field or the date of birth in the CRM), and emails for forms and loyalty points. Abandoned carts get a fixed sequence of three emails, after 1, 24 and 72 hours. Browse abandonment isn't included yet.
No, the email module only sends email. WhatsApp and SMS are in the Inbox and the phone module, as conversation channels, not as campaigns.
The module is included in every plan: Starter, Pro and Complete. There's no price per contact or per email sent. A new sending domain does warm up: 200 emails per day in the first week, then 1,000, 5,000 and 20,000.
Yes. You import contacts as CSV or JSON, and for Brevo there's an import that brings your lists over as groups. Anyone who was already unsubscribed stays unsubscribed.
