Mailchimp alternative: no meter on every contact

Mailchimp is the best-known newsletter tool in the world, with a large template and integration library. Neuramerce does email inside the platform your shop runs on: products, orders and revenue without an integration, and no price that grows with every contact on your list.

Email marketing included in every Neuramerce subscription

TL;DR: who is it for?

Choose

if you mainly send a simple newsletter alongside another shop platform, need many integrations with other software or want extensive A/B testing on content and send time.

Choose

if your webshop runs on Neuramerce or will, and you want to send your newsletter, welcome sequence, cart emails and order sequences from the same catalogue and orders. You don't pay per contact, not even for people who unsubscribed.

The full comparison

Mailchimp compared on what both tools do themselves. Mailchimp wins on integrations, A/B testing and segmentation; the difference is where your product data and orders come from, and what the price scales on.

Neuramerce is still in active development. Need a specific integration or feature? Let us know: many features can be built fairly quickly. Feel free to get in touch.

Why webshops switch from Mailchimp

Rarely because Mailchimp falls short. Usually because the bill rises with a list that mostly just grows, or because the shop and the email tool remain two systems.

No price per contact

Mailchimp counts every contact on your list, including people who unsubscribed, until you archive them. With Neuramerce, email marketing is part of the platform price.

Products and orders without an integration

Product blocks pull price and stock from your own catalogue, and an order sequence starts on every paid order, including at the till.

Transactional email included

Order confirmation, shipping notice and invoice come from the same platform, in Dutch, English and German. No separate add-on.

Data in the EU

Mailchimp is an American company. With Neuramerce, your list is stored in the EU.

In Dutch

Admin, support and standard emails in Dutch.

Switch in 4 steps

Your subscribers won't notice a thing. We set up your domain and keep Mailchimp running alongside until your whole list is reachable.
  1. Demo and intake

30 minutes. We look at which automations, segments and integrations you use in Mailchimp and whether the platform covers them. Honest answer included.
  2. Sending domain and warm-up

You set SPF, DKIM and DMARC for a mail subdomain. The domain warms up: 200 emails per day in week 1, then 1,000, 5,000 and 20,000.
  3. Move your list and sequences

You export your audience as CSV and import it; unsubscribed stays unsubscribed. You set up the welcome, cart and order sequences again.
  4. Go live and cancel

Once the warm-up runs at full speed, the newsletter goes out via Neuramerce and you cancel Mailchimp. One environment, one invoice.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions about switching from Mailchimp.

For webshops running on Neuramerce that send newsletters and automated sequences around their products and orders, yes. If you only send the occasional newsletter alongside another shop platform, or need many integrations with other software, Mailchimp is a better fit.
No. There's no price per contact. Unsubscribed and bounced contacts are kept so they don't get emails any more, but they cost nothing.
Yes, as a CSV export. Columns are mapped automatically and anyone who was unsubscribed stays unsubscribed. You choose which group the contacts go into.
No. Email marketing is included in every paid plan, from Starter. Mailchimp has a free plan up to 250 contacts and 500 emails per month.
A new sending domain starts at 200 emails per day and steps up after each week without high bounces, up to 20,000 per day. Keep Mailchimp running for a few weeks if your list is larger.
