ActiveCampaign alternative: automations that know your orders

ActiveCampaign is known for deep marketing automation with a built-in CRM. Neuramerce does email inside the platform your shop runs on: products, orders and revenue without an integration, and no plan where your automations stop after five steps.

Email marketing included in every Neuramerce subscription

TL;DR: who is it for?

Choose

if you build complex automations with many branches and lead scoring, or follow up B2B leads with extensive segments. ActiveCampaign is clearly ahead there.

Choose

if your webshop runs on Neuramerce or will, and you want to send the sequences a webshop actually uses (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement) from the same catalogue and orders, without a plan trap and without a price per contact.

The full comparison

ActiveCampaign compared on what both tools do themselves. ActiveCampaign wins on automations and segmentation; the difference is where your product data and orders come from, and which plan you need for it.

Neuramerce is still in active development. Need a specific integration or feature? Let us know: many features can be built fairly quickly. Feel free to get in touch.

What does your ActiveCampaign stack really cost?

For a webshop, Plus is usually the minimum: that's where unlimited automation steps and the e-commerce integration live. Attribution is in Pro. Add add-ons, SMS and the integration with your shop, and compare the total with one platform price.

Why webshops switch from ActiveCampaign

Rarely because ActiveCampaign falls short. Usually because a webshop only needs a handful of sequences, and pays for an expensive plan to get them.

No plan trap

In Starter an automation stops after five actions and there's no e-commerce integration. With Neuramerce, the whole email module is in every plan.

Products and orders without an integration

Product blocks pull price and stock from your own catalogue, and an order sequence starts on every paid order, including at the till.

Revenue without a Pro plan

An order within seven days of a click is credited as revenue to the campaign, in every plan.

In Dutch

Admin, support and standard emails in Dutch, without a reseller in between.

Switch in 4 steps

Your contacts won't notice a thing. We set up your domain and keep ActiveCampaign running alongside until your whole list is reachable.
  1. Demo and intake

30 minutes. We look at which automations, tags and integrations you use in ActiveCampaign and whether the platform covers them. Honest answer included, also about complex branching.
  2. Sending domain and warm-up

You set SPF, DKIM and DMARC for a mail subdomain. The domain warms up: 200 emails per day in week 1, then 1,000, 5,000 and 20,000.
  3. Move your contacts and sequences

You export your contacts as CSV and import them, with tags; unsubscribed stays unsubscribed. You set up the sequences you actually use again.
  4. Go live and cancel

Once the warm-up runs at full speed, everything goes via Neuramerce and you cancel ActiveCampaign. One environment, one invoice.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions about switching from ActiveCampaign.

For webshops running on Neuramerce that mainly send a welcome sequence, cart emails, a post-purchase sequence and a newsletter, yes. If you build automations with many branches or lead scoring, ActiveCampaign is ahead.
A sequence has steps with waits in hours or days, a fixed send time and optionally no weekends. A step can continue only if nothing was ordered, or include a discount code. Branching on arbitrary conditions as in ActiveCampaign isn't available.
Yes, as a CSV export, including tags. Columns are mapped automatically and anyone who was unsubscribed stays unsubscribed.
Mailblue is the Dutch version of ActiveCampaign, with the same plans. The comparison with Neuramerce is therefore largely the same; we have a separate page for it.
Nothing extra: the module is included in every plan, from Starter. There's no price per contact or per email sent.
