eDesk alternative: customer contact next to your own shop

eDesk is strong for marketplace sellers: bol.com, Amazon, Kaufland and OTTO in one inbox, with refunds from the ticket. On the other hand, AI and translation come as per-user add-ons. Neuramerce puts orders, returns and customer value from your own webshop next to the conversation, with the AI included in the subscription.

Inbox included in every Neuramerce subscription

TL;DR: who is what for?

Choose

if you sell a lot through marketplaces such as bol.com, Amazon, Kaufland or OTTO, and want those messages in one inbox with marketplace rules and refunds. That's what eDesk is built for.

Choose

if you mainly sell through your own webshop and want customer contact, orders, returns and inventory in one platform, without AI add-ons per user.

The full comparison

eDesk compared on what both systems do themselves. eDesk wins on marketplaces, refunds from the ticket and SLAs; the difference lies in your own webshop and in what AI and translation cost per user.

Neuramerce is still very much in development. Need a particular integration or feature? Let us know: many features can be built fairly quickly. Feel free to get in touch.

Why webshops switch from eDesk

Rarely because eDesk falls short for marketplaces. Usually because your own webshop grows and the add-ons add up.

No AI add-ons per user

At eDesk, AI Assist costs $39 per user, AI Translate $21 and the AI agent $0.99 per resolution. With Neuramerce, the AI chatbot, draft replies and translation are included in the subscription.

Your own shop without an integration

With Neuramerce, the inbox is the same system as your webshop, so orders, returns and inventory never drift out of sync.

Dutch-language administration

eDesk has no Dutch interface. The Neuramerce Inbox is in Dutch, like the rest of the platform.

Returns and warranty in the conversation

You open and edit a return or warranty case from the conversation, with status, costs and timeline alongside.

One bill, one support team

No separate helpdesk next to your shop, mailing and CRM. One platform, one support team.

Switching in 4 steps

Your customers won't notice a thing. We connect your channels and keep eDesk running alongside until everything works.
  1. Demo and intake

30 minutes. We look at which marketplaces, rules and integrations you use in eDesk and whether the platform covers them. Honest answer included: marketplace messages don't come into the Inbox yet.
  2. Connect channels

You connect your email addresses, WhatsApp number, Instagram, Messenger and the chat widget to the Inbox.
  3. Run side by side

For a few days, conversations come in to both systems. Marketplace messages can stay in eDesk for as long as you need.
  4. Go live and cancel

Once everything runs as it should, you scale eDesk down or cancel it. One environment, one bill.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions about switching from eDesk.

If you mainly sell through your own webshop, yes. If you sell a large share through bol.com, Amazon or other marketplaces, eDesk is further ahead: those messages don't come into our inbox yet.
Not yet. You can keep eDesk running for marketplaces and handle your own webshop in the Inbox.
Not from the conversation itself yet. You see the order next to the conversation and open it in the Orders module with one click. Return and warranty cases, however, you edit directly from the conversation.
Yes. The admin interface and the AI work in Dutch, and you translate customer messages in other languages into Dutch with one click.
Nothing extra: the Inbox is part of the platform subscription. You pay one rate for site, shop, inventory, customer contact and marketing.
