AI isn't eating your traffic. Google is.

Yesterday I wrote that I had wrongly blamed AI for my collapsed Google traffic. Today a report landed based on fifteen months of clickstream data that confirms exactly that, and immediately puts a bigger problem next to it: one in five clicks after a Google search ends up at Google itself.

The future of e-commerce: I asked AI

On 1 May 2025 my shop moved to a new domain. Six weeks later it was doing 250 clicks a day; by September, 65. I blamed AI, until I looked at my own numbers and realised I had named the wrong suspect. What remained was a better question: what does e-commerce look like in five years?
