Progress update: growth
against the season.

On 7 August 2026, Grill Bill moved from WordPress to Neuramerce, in three languages. Right in late summer, when demand for kamados fades. Two months later, the progress update: more clicks, seven times as many impressions in Google and a PageSpeed score of 99, while the market declines.

The perspective

Growth in season is no proof.

Search Console screenshots with a line going up are everywhere. But if you sell barbecues, you get more traffic in spring anyway. Then you are measuring the season, not the webshop.

That is why we put the grillbill.eu numbers next to Google Trends. Search interest in "kamado bbq" in the Netherlands peaked in May. By mid-September, 14 out of 100 was left. Right in that decline, on 7 August, Grill Bill went live on Neuramerce. What happens in Google after that cannot be put down to the season.

A rising line only means something when you put it next to the demand in your market.

The market drops, the line rises.

What changed

The same store, a different foundation.

From WordPress to Neuramerce

The old site ran on WordPress with plugins. On 7 August the same store went live on Neuramerce, with its products, customers, recipes and past orders.

Multilingual from day one

Grill Bill is online in three languages, from one store. No translation plugin and no separate sites per country. Every language has its own URLs and meta.

PageSpeed 65 to 99

Mobile PageSpeed went from 65 to 99. Fast pages load better on phones, and Google takes that into account.

Pages Google understands

Product and category pages answer first and carry structured data, so Google and AI search engines understand what is on them.

Content built on real searches

Categories, recipes and articles are built on the questions kamado buyers actually ask, using the keyword data from the findability module.

The next layer

More searches also means more terms where you are not on top yet. That list is ready as the next step.
Honest measurement

What the numbers do and don't say.

The Search Console comparison covers six months against the six months before. Only two of those months fall after the launch. So the growth since 7 August is steeper than the average shows. Look at the right-hand part of the chart.

Click-through rate dropped from 7.3% to 2.2%. That is expected: when you suddenly show up for seven times as many searches, you also show up for many terms where you are still at position 20 or 30. Those impressions bring few clicks yet. Even so, the average position went from 11.9 to 11.1.

This is a progress update, not a final result. We will update this page when the new season starts. The approach per part is in the Grill Bill case, the speed gains in getting to PageSpeed 100 and the languages in a multilingual webshop.

CTR drops because Grill Bill shows up for far more searches.
